Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Supporting, developing, initiating, and monitoring Continuous Improvement processes across multiple functions to improve productivity
• Foster the sustainability of standards through systematic standard-work definition and disciplined process-confirmation
• Give cross-functional daily ”on-the-job” support and reinforcement to SFM-Leaders during the 3 shop floor management routine
• Challenge the socio-technical system (People, Organization, Process, Technology) through daily kaizen in order to exploit the full performance potential
• Assists in the change of systems/processes as required in support of the Continuous Improvement strategy
• Supports the Lean Manager to promote and execute the Continuous Improvement mindset in the plant
• Provide Continuous Improvement experience, content, tool, facilitation, coaching, consultation, and implementation expertise
• Ensure that clear targets, goals and expectations are established, tracked, monitored and communicated
• Coordinates the implementation of new standards and best demonstrated practices
• Checks discipline-to-standard promoting daily process confirmation of the previously defined standards (Sustainability
• Acts as role model, trainer and coach, developing the Continuous Improvement skills of both managers and employees
• Shares know-how with the Lean departments of the other plants; he/she cooperates with them to spread the Continuous Improvement culture within SC-EU

Requirements
• Secondary school or University – with technical degree
• 2 years experiences in production
• Experience with Lean methodology and tools
• Ability to determine, optimize, and implement Continuous Improvement programs, processes and activities
• Knowledge of lean tools (5S, Kanban, TPM, SMED, KAIZEN, SOP, VSM, Jidoka, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of English
