Job description, responsibilities and duties

The main role of the Conversion rate optimization (CRO) specialist is to work as a part of the Global CRO team providing assistance and support in the creation and execution of the global conversion rate optimization strategy.
The main responsibility of the CRO specialist is to maintain the AB testing roadmap and to take the ownership of the execution, evaluation and reporting phase of AB testing initiatives, while providing ad hoc assistance to the team in all the other phases of the process – incl. research and ideation.

Activities / responsibilities:
- Participate in the creation of the global conversion optimization strategy to get new and keep the old customers
- Suggest, plan, execute and evaluate conversion rate optimization initiatives, with the focus on the execution and evaluation phase of the process
- Maintain the internal AB testing / CRO optimization backlog/roadmap
- Define the setup for individual AB testing activities incl. hypothesis, KPIs and individual variations
- Work with the respective teams to prepare the assets for the testing
- Execute the test in the respective AB testing tool
- Report - analyze the results, identify findings and takeaways
- Assist in the implementation of CRO tools (AB testing, user flow analysis) to the properties of the ESET web ecosystem
- Provide assistance to ESET internal and external stakeholders who execute CRO initiatives by themselves
- Participate in the creation of comprehensive Web/Ecom CRO pulse-check analyses for ESET partners and offices
- Participate in the creation of Web/Ecom best practice guidelines to be shared with the internal stakeholders, partners and offices
- Participate in the development of the GWS platform by providing insights, suggestions, and AB testing assistance
- Provide ad hoc CRO support in other areas, based on the current needs of the team and the company

Personality requirements and skills

- At least 2 years of experience on similar position
- Hands-on experience with conversion rate optimization
- Good understanding of online marketing principles, trends in web design, accessibility, usability, user experience, e-commerce, SEO best practices, SEM and PPC
- Experienced in HTML, CSS, Javascript, and/or JQuery
- Experience with A/B testing tools (Optimizely, VWO or similar), heat mapping and user recordings tools (Hotjar, CrazyEgg, Clicktale or similar)
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Service-orientated team player with expert communication skills
- Upbeat attitude, self-driven focus and motivation, and desire to work in a results-oriented environment
- Ability to work independently and prioritize and reprioritize tasks
- Ability and willingness to learn new things

Brief description of the company

The beginnings of ESET date back to 1987, when two young programming enthusiasts, Peter Paško and Miroslav Trnka, wrote a program for the detection of one of the world’s first computer viruses. They did not know that they had created one of the most successful antivirus programs in the world – dubbing it NOD.
