Project Manager

Overview:

ESET, being global #5 player in the security market has ambition to grow and a become one of the leading players. In this effort, the company has recently established new department to deal with global and strategic projects beyond the “business as usual”. The new strategic team is now being formed at global HQ in Bratislava, seeking ambitious, young and enthusiastic people with high potential.

Our next addition to the team will be Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing of several projects in parallel, often with international reach from Asia to America. Projects will require co-operation with other internal ESET departments who are involved and participate on a delivery. Type of projects typically include activities such as searching / establishment of new distribution partners in specific countries, acquisitions of companies around the world, post-acquisition activities and implementation targeting tangible (revenues) results.

We are looking for an ambitious person, who wants to grow long term professionally (who will bet on ESET) and finds it interesting to work on various types of projects. The environment is organic and highly dynamic where the only constant is a change. Attitude is more important than experience or age.

The person is expected to put together and manage their future team (at least 3-4 people) and will invest time into leading and developing people and the team.

We are looking for person who is able to communicate clearly and systematically upwards with frequent exposure to senior management of the company or business partners. The person should be is self-managed and self-motivated.

Responsibilities:

• Have a thorough understanding of ESET’s internal processes to accommodate for various tasks stemming from the projects needs
• Coordinate work of the team and other ESET departments and meet deadlines of the tasks and the overall project
• Ability to make decisions in relevant circumstances to keep projects moving
• Predict and mitigate the risks of project delays and adverse impacts on the quality of delivery
• Report the progress of the projects to senior management
• Become a reliable source of on time delivery on various projects and tasks given
• Develop and manage small diverse team of highly skilled people including externals

Qualifications:

• 3-4 years of experience in project management with focus on business perspective, business integration, M&A
• Pragmatic knowledge of project management skills and focus of on time and on budget delivery
• Attention to detail for assigned tasks
• Good negotiation, presentation and communication skills
• Strong analytical thinking
• Experience with company valuations or merger and acquisition type of projects is beneficiary
• Team player but able to work on own initiative
• Self-motivated & self-sufficient with good time management
• University education
• Fluent oral and written English
• Flexible with traveling
• Risk taker from time to time, including work hard play hard attitude
