Job description, responsibilities and duties
Erste Group IT international is the key IT provider for Erste Group Bank.
As a part of BRCC (Business intelligent and Reporting Competence Centre) we are looking for people who join the team of backend developers, analysts and designers for Group Core Data Warehouse.
The team works on regular update of dedicated solutions and provides 2nd and 3rd level support during data processing and reporting periods.
On the top of that we are extending our responsibilities to newly built solutions.
Join the backend DWH team, cooperate with another DWH colleagues - specialist and take over following tasks on projects and solutions‘ operation:
* Design, development and unit test of ETL processes execution
* Design and set up of ETL workflow/process preparation
* Deployment packages preparation
* Optimization of existing ETL processes runtimes
* Participation on Software Design Specification preparation (SDS)
* Interpretation of SDS to understand mapping and transformational requirements
* Effort estimation for assigned tasks and participation on the DWH and BI releases planning
* Monitoring of ETL processes and participation on 3rd level support for our the solutions
* Creation and maintenance of proper technical documentation

* min. of 3-5 years of experience in design, development, modification and testing of ETL processes for DWH and BI databases
* Very good knowledge of the following tools and programming languages:
* Experience with developing ETL processes
* Software development experience with Oracle RDBMS 11g and higher
* Experience developing and modifying scripts on a Linux or Unix environment
* Experience in measuring and tuning the performance of DWH and BI solutions code
* Experiences with CASE tools - Power designer appreciated
* Experiences with tracking systems like JIRA
* English – active verbal & written communication
* Team player
* Solution oriented and analytical thinking
* Availability to work 1-2 days per week from Vienna office, rest of the time from Lakesidepark office in Bratislava
* Very good knowledge of the following tools and programming languages:
