Data Quality Assurance Specialist (f/m),
in Bratislava

The Risk Division of Erste Group Bank AG has set up a Service center (EGSC) in Bratislava. The EGSC supplements the existing structure of the Risk Division. The EGSC Bratislava is supposed to offer services for the Risk Division in Vienna related to the operations quantitative methods and validation, compliance, projects and reporting.

As team member of EGSC you will be part of a new services model built up in Bratislava. We are looking for flexible personalities who are eager to learn and bring in their competencies and engagement to create with the new colleagues an efficient and excellent working organization.

The Group of Connected Clients (GCC) - Approval and Data Quality Assurance team, which is part of the department Corporate Portfolio Monitoring and Management in Erste Holding, and is responsible for ensuring the correct set-up of Client Group data in Erste Group (i.e. Holding, direct/indirect subsidiaries, and AT savings banks). A further task of the team is to provide the first level support function to all local entities in case of questions on client / GCC data incl. the approval (i.e. confirmation of correctness) of GCC data in the Group IT application. Trainings of local entities on GCC formation and the setting-up of group-wide processes complete the main functions of the team.

You will be directly employed under Slovak labour conditions and will be integrated in the team in Erste Group Bank AG.

The major tasks and responsibilities are:

• As a senior specialist in the business development desk, you will cooperate closely with the various business and risk management units in Erste Group
• Approval of client group (GCC) data and improvement of data quality for client / GCC data
• First level support incl. conceptual and methodological support for relevant counterparts within Erste Group in case of questions on client data / GCC formation (e.g. Sales / Risk Mgmt. / Risk Controlling / etc.)
• Internal training of colleagues from local entities in regards to GCC formation
• Operative participation in data clean-up activities and IT projects incl. the definition/set-up of group wide processes in regards to GCC formation
• Preparation/execution/distribution of defined DQ reports to relevant departments/units in Erste Group

YOU:

• hold a university degree in business administration, economics, business informatics, law or equivalent relevant to banking and finance
• have a minimum of 3 years of experience in banking, preferably in credit risk management and reporting
• are computer literate in MS Office and are an expert in data processing
• have a good understanding of regulatory requirements, especially the Capital Requirements Regulation (EU) No. 575/2013
• know how client data are used and treated in bank systems
• speak English fluently; any other core market language (German, CEE) is of advantage
