Erste Asset Management is responsible for all asset management activities within Erste Group Bank AG. With an overall volume of around 56 billion euros assets under management, Erste Asset Management is one of the leading asset management companies in Central and Eastern Europe. After an introductory phase of 2-6 months in Vienna, the position will be located in Bratislava at our subsidiary AMSLSP.
Fund Operations Specialist (m/f)
Your tasks and responsibilities :
- Validation and reconciliation checks of used market prices and model prices for equities-, bonds- and derivative-positions
- Validation of valuation models for securities that are set up by an external vendor for model-calculations
- Calculation of model prices for securities (e.g. discounted cash flow models for bonds and fixed-income-OTC-products, Black-Scholes-Model for OTC-options etc.)
- Monitoring of less liquid assets
- NAV-Reconciliation Checks before NAVs are published
- Specifying and testing of new IT configurations regarding valuation processes, model-calculations and NAV-reconciliation routines
- Creation of IFRS 9 and 7 Reports for Investment Funds
You:
- preferably have a university degree in business studies
- have a knowledge of investment funds and financial assets
- enjoy doing research and are ready to welcome new challenges
- are detail-oriented
- are fluent in English (and preferably in German)
- have a very good knowledge of MS-Excel
- are a team player
