Financial Reconciliation Manager (advanced) m/f

The Risk Division (Holding) has set up a Service center (Erste Group Service Center, EGSC) in Bratislava. The EGSC will supplement the existing structure of the Risk Division. The Bratislava service center is supposed to offer services for the Risk Division in Vienna related to the operations quantitative methods and validation, compliance, projects and reporting.
The departments of Risk Information Management is responsible for the management of Risk data extraction and Risk reporting, Risk data quality assurance and monitoring as well as to provide governance for Risk data aggregation and Risk reporting practices. The unit Risk Information Management has the business responsibility for the implementation, operation and continuous further development of Group Data Pool with respect to all information required at group level for risk controlling and risk reporting purposes.

The key focus of the position is
  • Collect and provide relevant data for RWA calculation, ICAAP and reporting purposes with a focus on financial reconciliation (FI-RECON) and accounting related topics.
  • Maintain, modify and extend data model of the Group Data Pool to fulfill data needs of the organization.
  • Align and communicate group requirements and standards within the entire Erste Group.
  • Ensure adequate data quality of the group data warehouses.
  • Advise and provide decision material for management.
  • Support counterparties from Erste Group local banks by providing business support related to data delivery topics or support for understanding data delivery issues and risk management business knowledge
YOU:
  • have strong analytical skills, experience in data analysis, data mining
  • have solid accounting knowledge (IFRS)
  • have knowledge of SAS, SAS Cube and/or SQL is an advantage
  • have at least 2 years’ experience in Banking industry with focus on data reconciliation and data analyses in Risk Management or Accounting area
  • are proficient in English language. German and/or CEE language of advantage
