Senior Analyst Risk Model Framework (m/f), Bratislava

The Risk Division of Erste Group Bank AG will set up a Service Center (Erste Group Service Center) in Bratislava. The Service Center is supposed to offer services for the Risk Division in Vienna related to the operations quantitative methods and validation, compliance, projects and reporting.

The department Risk Model Framework is responsible for the supervision and coordination of key initiatives and requirements from auditors and regulators in the area of Risk Methods and Models and the Organization of Credit and Market Risk Model Governance. Furthermore the team ensures the group-wide execution of model life cycle for credit and market risk and is owner of policies with cross segmental coverage like Default Definition and Group Rating Regulation.

YOU:
  • are responsible for cross segmental coordination of key initiatives and requirements from auditors and regulators in the area of Risk Methods and Models
  • support and facilitate the group-wide execution of model life cycle for credit and market risk
  • do prioritization within and tracking of model life cycle incl. validation and roll out processes and appropriate resolution of problems within the life cycle
  • provide conceptual and practical assistance to subsidiaries for ensuring appropriate implementation of policies and their use for policies with cross segmental coverage like Default Definition and Group Rating Regulation
  • install appropriate processes and tools for monitoring group wide consistency, soundness and coverage of policies, models and methodology
  • prepare and document meetings and workshops
  • have a University degree, preferably in economics / business administration
  • have minimum 5 years’ experience in the financial sector, preferably in risk management or controlling area
  • possess knowledge of banking products, Project and Process Management
  • are ideally already experienced in Basel II and III (CRD I – IV, EBA guidelines)
  • have a proactive and solution oriented approach
  • show strong communication and analytical skills and the ability to prioritize
  • bring excellent social skills and customer orientation and work well in teams
  • have the ability to communicate fluently in English – verbally and in writing; German and/or CEE language skills would be an advantage
  • are ready to travel
