Analyst Data and Process Validation (m/f), Bratislava

The Risk Division (Holding) will set up a Service center (Erste Group Service Center, EGSC) in Bratislava. The Service Center is supposed to offer services for the Risk Division in Vienna related to the operations quantitative methods and validation, compliance, projects and reporting.

The team performs regulatory validations of all the Steering / Steering parameters, Data / Process and Operational Risk models of Erste Group and provides opinions on new models to the internal steering committees. The validation team communicates with the senior management of the Holding, the respective commitees and the local managers, as well as the European and domestic regulators - ECB (European Central Bank), OeNB (Austrian National Bank), EBA (European Banking Authority), FMA (Financial Market.

YOU:
  • set up the “Validation Framework” for data and processes and generate the corresponding reports
  • maintain the Validation Tool
  • support the Data governance and maintenance of the existing validation solutions
  • perform Process Validation with respect to data-collection and processes set up
  • continuously develop tools, processes, etc. to enhance the validation function
  • have a deep knowledge of databases and data structure/configuration
  • gained experience with SAS, SQL, VBA and other related tools
  • provide knowledge of the banking business, -products and –processes
  • show an affinity for figures, details, precision
  • understand complex concepts
  • are a service oriented person and a dedicated team player with good communication skills and intercultural awareness
  • speak and write English fluently, ideally have knowledge in German, another CEE language would be an advantage
