Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Preparation and review of income tax returns for individuals and corporations
• Preparation of value added tax returns
• Preparation of tax registrations, announcements, tax return related reports, written responses to tax authorities’ questions and notices
• Direct communication with the client and tax authorities regarding routine procedural and non-tax technical issues
• Preparation of services proposals
• Maintaining audit trail of the compliance work processes and keeping files
• Active involvement in tax compliance processes development and improvement

Required education

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Educational Specialization

economic, legal

Language skills

Slovak - Proficiency (C2) and
English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Computer skills - user

Microsoft Excel - advanced
Microsoft Word - advanced
Microsoft PowerPoint - advanced

Personality requirements and skills

• Economic university degree (fresh graduate or max. two years of work experience)
• Fluent Slovak and English essential
• Active German is a plus
• Computer literacy (MS Office)
• Strong communication skills, self-confidence
• Initiative, enthusiasm, diligence, readiness to work hard
• Comfortable in routine and established processes
• Detail oriented, precise and systematic approach
• Team-player
• Commitment to professionalism
• Experience abroad, such as having international scholarship and work experience, is an advantage
