Your responsibility will be:

•Produce roadmaps showing current to future state.
•Produce architectural blueprints.
•Produce innovative designs, following through to their implementation.
•Work with the functional architect and CTO to provide architectural blueprints across the business.
•Work closely with the development teams to communicate the big picture, integration API’s across the system landscape.
•Production of roadmaps that communicate the application strategy across functional areas, including the legacy system decommissioning roadmap.
•Help to promote a culture of Agile & XP across the organization.
•Be seen as a technical design expert in the team, working with developers to create a rock solid architectural foundation.
•Work with business stakeholders to define solutions.
•Map business outcomes to business processes to applications to the infrastructure that supports it.
•Perform an active role in identifying the need for and evaluating emerging technologies.
•Develop and maintain technical standards and engineering processes.
•Design complex parts of in house built solutions, responsibility for communicating the design to developers and reviewing the outcome.
•Contribute to technology selection, technology evaluation, vendor selection.

Requirements

We are looking for a person with broad experience, who can understand what a company like ours does and can help drive technology in the company.

• Prior experience as a C#/.NET tech lead or as a an architect.
• Knowledge of the Commodities Trading business domain is a plus.

Experience in several of following areas:
• Cloud, Client Server, Messaging, SOA, Microservices, Mobile, Big Data, distributed systems, HA/DR.
