Job description, responsibilities and duties
Due to maternity leave we have an opening for a Technical Writer to be based at our Bratislava office.
Key Responsibilities:
• Composing and supply technical documentation in English for company products
• Composing of documentation according to the organizational and style standards established in the company
• Coordination with analytics, programmers and testers in order to gain data and check technical correctness of information contained in documentation
• Implementation of regular checks and modifications of existing information
Requirements, Qualifications and Work Experience:
• Higher education in linguistics (English Language), or technical education with additional education in English Language
• Practical experience in written English Language during last 4 years
• Knowledge of HTML editors (including XML)
• Advanced user of Windows and Microsoft Office (including Excel)
• Available to learn complicated technical conceptions and formulate them in exact and clear way
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and develop release documentation.
• Accurateness and focus on details
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Team player
• Understanding of software installation logistics, as well as release content is desirable
• Work experience as technical writer or teacher of English Language. In case of work experience as technical writer should provide Epicor with samples of previous works
