GL Accountant with English and Hungarian Language Skills - ERP Software

As a GL Accountant in our Shared Services Centre based in Bratislava you will have a key role in finance being responsible for the accounting processes for our subsidiaries. The role requires excellent English and Hungarian language skills.

This is a key role for finance and will involve interaction with business operations, senior managers and all members of the finance team on a daily basis.

This position has sole responsibility for accounting for a legal entity.
Responsibilities

General Ledger
• Local Stat &Tax
• Communication with local Tax & Audit company
• GL entries & reconciliations
• US GAAP entries & reconciliation
• Local reporting
• Corporate reporting
• Commission calculation
• Master data for external Payroll company
• Interco confirmations – AP&AR
• AP/AR Revaluation, Close and Reconciliation

Accounts Payable
• Queries – issues on TB, account coding
• Vendor setup approval
• Employee setup requests in our systems
• AP write off/credit approvals
• TB review
• Payment approvals
• AP close and GL reconciliations
• AP invoice checking & posting
• Bank reconciliation

Accounts Receivable
• Credit limits
• Write offs – FX, credit approvals
• Manual invoices (rent, service charges, MDF)
• Aged debt reviews
• AR close & GL reconciliation
• 90 day reports
• AR in US format
• Deferred maintenance reconciliation
• Unpaid maintenance
• Bad debt provision
• AR invoice checking & posting
• Revenue accruals

Ideal experience would include

• providing and interpreting financial information;
• monitoring and interpreting cash flows and forecasting future needs;
• researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance;
• conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities;
• managing a company's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems;
• liaising with auditors to ensure annual statutory reporting is completed to schedule;
• developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organisations such as the local tax office;
• producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines;
• Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation
