EG Global Supply Chain Overview
The Enterprise Group (EG) supply Chain organization, as part of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, is counted as one of the largest in the world in terms of revenue, network and spend. Supply chain enables delivery and manufacture of a full portfolio of standards-based, integrated products and services developed specifically to solve the complexities of the extended enterprise and deliver a Converged Infrastructure of servers, storage and networking. The Supply Chain organization balances volume and complexity across HPE owned, and partner factories and suppliers, to bring advanced technology solutions such as servers, storage and networking together into one HPE Converged Infrastructure.
Buyer/Planner within the Procurement organization of ESS (Enterprise Servers & Storage) EMEA supply chain, responsible for the planning and procurement of a set of commodities required to support the manufacture and shipment of ESSN products (Enterprise Servers, Storage & Networking).

Main Responsibilities:

- Manage future supply commits by part number from vendors, to ensure they cover forecast and buffers.
- Expedite any supply gaps to material required to support customer orders.
- Accurately reflect supply status in SAP to support ATP process (customer order commits).
- Maintain master data in SAP to ensure accurate supply management.
- Ensure daily & weekly monitoring of supply; raise alerts when inventory falls below agreed buffer levels and work replenishment actions.
- Ensure inventory and Excess & Obsolescence metrics are achieved.
- Escalate potential revenue impact of any shortfall in supply to Regional planning and GBU.
- Participate in supplier management activity (Supplier performance scorecards etc.).

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- 2-5 years of Procurement and supplier management experience required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to negotiate and influence others (HP internal & external).
- Fluency in English.
- Organizational skills.
- Self-motivator, able to perform with little supervision within a virtual team environment.
- Extended analytical skills (MS Excel).
- Knowledge of SAP based procurement and planning processes eg. MRP, ATP.
- Knowledge of procurement processes (5 steps, PMP etc.).
