Job description, responsibilities and duties
enprovia is looking for a detail oriented person with exceptional IT related skills to join our team as a System/Network Engineer to assist our small IT team with administration of the day-to-day operations tasks and projects.
Your role as a System/Network Engineer:
The objective of this role is to provide support for our current IT team, which is responsible for designing and maintaining the internal infrastructure of company, which includes Virtual machine instances, Security, Windows servers, Linux servers VPNs and a lot more.
Your Job Tasks and Responsibilities include:
• Monitor backups, computer hardware, and various applications for correct operation
• Assisting new people arriving to the company. Preparing hardware, managing email accounts (Exchange, Postfix), and creating various service accounts on our local servers
• Managing Firewalls and security both on external and internal servers (Linux based - iptables)
• Updating knowledge base and company informative systems
• Providing support for various developer and office team members with IT and technical related tasks.
• Installing and configuring new Linux and windows based applications, services
• Maintaining supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating requirements; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; stocking items
• Managing Virtual Machine servers, and instances running on them
• Troubleshooting
