Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Provide support to the engineering community in regards to structures, rules, logic and use of the configurator and the Sales Order type for configured items.
• Work with Engineering and Product Marketing when new products are being developed to provide insight how they should be structured (set of configurations) for best use of the Oracle Configurator.
• Ensure Item attributes, BOM and configuration rules and logic are structured, enhancement are made to the master data to supports the Oracle Configurator and its capabilities.
• Identify, profile, and clean reference Item/BOM/Rules base data sources, using the Oracle and other tools.
• Support the synchronization between Oracle and ConfigureOne.
• Create suitable User Interfaces for configuration of products by the engineers without additional need for external systems.
• Perform timely new Item/BOM/Rules base creation and updates to records. All information entered accurately, consistently, and completely into Oracle and other systems according to the standards set forth by the team and the Business.
• Interaction with internal organizations & external suppliers, to understand their processes and find suitable parameter and attributes that can be used for easy definition of parts or configurations
