Job description, responsibilities and duties
Role Statement:
• Follow the warranty process from the reception of the Warranty Claim or the moment a Warranty Service Request is debriefed, through its technical approval to the upload in the system of the relevant data
• Follow-up on the invoicing of the approved Warranty Claims
• Operating the relevant systems, databases and reporting activities
Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Review all Warranty Claim information and check consistency with the Warranty Claim Process/Procedure
• Ensure efficient processing of Warranty Claims so that they are carried out to the highest standards of quality possible to ensure customer satisfaction
• Understanding the Warranty Claim management process
• Manage the upload of the Warranty Claims data in the central system
• Check and monitor the quality of the data (system and technical)
• In case of distributors, enter warranty spare parts orders in the system
• Trigger the return of failed components from the field when needed (actual return managed by Service Logistics)
• Trigger and authorise invoicing the approved warranty claims
• Analyze and report critical aspects of the Warranty Claim management process
• Investigate and query unsettled Warranty Claims and assess their causes
• Explain warranty conditions and procedures to the customer to avoid misunderstanding and conflicts
