Job description, responsibilities and duties
Financial and Operational control effectiveness. The Internal Controls & Compliance Analyst works closely with business unit Financial Controllers and Operating management in EMEA Region to review and document control procedures, flow chart transaction flows including review and approval requirements, make recommendations appropriate to maintaining and improving cost effective controls, and participate in overall control environment improvement implementation.
Key Duties:
- Support the Team Manager in internal control compliance activities
- Mapping Financial and Operational transactions, evaluating and testing of identified controls
- Support Business Unit Controllers in internal controlling tasks
- Periodical review and evaluation of location Internal Control Questionnaire's
- Participation / assistance at internal and external audits
- Development of standard accounting procedures
- Equity reconciliation statutory financial stmt vs. US Gaap Financial Stmt
- IT controls and Procedures changes and implementation Internal Audit recommendations
- Support Business Unit Controllers and Country Managers for Anti-corruption compliance
