Job description, responsibilities and duties
Job Purpose
- To ensure that all customer purchase orders are validated, recorded, processed and delivered safely within the specified times
Specific Responsibilities
- Supporting customers on all pre-order stages such as part numbers identification, pricing and orders quotation
- Checking booking forms for consistency, changes and delivery requirements
- Raising sales orders using the Company’s system (currently JDE)
- Maintaining the company’s order processing systems
- Liaising with Service and Company entities to ensure the prompt shipment and delivery of Customers orders
- Chasing late deliveries, missing parts or purchase orders changes with Service Procurement
- Collection and management of all of documentation required prior goods shipments to the Customers
- Raising invoices and monitoring progress
- Warranty claims management
- Maintaining the department’s internal filing and archiving systems
- Other relevant duties as delegated by the immediate supervisor
