Job description, responsibilities and duties
Currently we are looking for new colleague to join our team as
a Senior Tester for our office based in Bratislava (Slovak Republic).
As a Senior Tester you will be a very important part of our project team and help us to develop the test plans and evaluate the quality of software components. Specifically, you will analyze the context of software systems and apply testing types and levels (component, integration, system, and acceptance tests) to various software development models. You will be taking a software through everyday usage to ensure no bugs or glitches exist that would present problems for users.
Your day-to-day work will include:
• Meeting with clients for a walk-through of software to be tested.
• Design and executive test plans
• Record and document results and compare to expected results.
• Detect software failures so that defects may be discovered and corrected.
• Maintain database of software defects.
• Examine code and execution of code in various environments.
• Verify specific action or function of code.
• Operate and maintain test networks.
• Provide application instructions for users.
• Develop and document application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications.
• Create meaningful error handling procedures for application code.
• Participate in application planning meetings.
• Ensure data integrity standards.
• Perform reviews, walkthroughs, or inspections.

• The ability to work in a team and as an individual
