Finance Specialist for Shared Services Center

Job Summary
SSC Finance Specialist will be responsible for executing specific finance processes and delivering services and results to the business units (internal clients). She/he will act as an internal consultant regarding finance processes, supporting the business with the necessary expertise for the Finance SSC operation.

Responsibilities
SSC Finance Specialist will be responsible for:
• executing processes efficiently, on-time and with quality
• performing daily activities oriented to service level achievement
• delivering results according to the SLAs and other goals defined by SSC leadership
• identifying and implementing opportunities of continuous improvement on the performed activities


Main duties
• Act as a contact person with business units / internal clients
• Accounting according to Slovak and international rules (IFRS, US GAAP)
• Processing, monitoring and financial control of accounting transactions based on the specification (General accounting, Accounts Receivables, Account Payables, Credit&Collection, Bank Transfers)
• Verification and finalization of documents for financial statements preparation
• Participation in regular monthly closing process
• Ensure proper accounting and administrative procedures - truthful, precise, provable and timely manner
• Reporting
• Increase quality of financial processes
• Other administrative or clerical duties as part of the job

• Be an expert on financial processes for different countries (Brazil, China, Italy, Mexico, Russia, Slovakia and USA)
