Logistics Manager for Slovakia market (RSS)

The distribution model, centered on strong relationships with main suppliers and component producers, guarantees speedy delivery of an extensive range of products to our clients, and is managed by a logistic network of 10 central warehouses and 200 distribution branches serving over 83,000 clients.

The Group’s supply chain has been developed upon a “pull” type model, which ensures on the one side a consistent maintenance of optimal stock levels and on the other side the maximum efficiency of the distribution system and the ability to quickly meet the clients' needs.

Rhiag Group is looking for a

• Negotiate transportation rates and services
• Design models for use in evaluating logistics programs or services
• Responsible for carrier relations
• Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes
• Analyze all aspects of corporate logistics to determine the most cost-effective or efficient ways of transporting products or supplies
• Communicate transportation information to customers or suppliers
• Manage process and logistic changes to ensure company objectives
• Create or optimize logistic processes and procedures
• Develop business by gaining new contracts, analysing logistical problems and producing new solutions
• Establish or monitor specific logistic KPI’s or measurement systems
• Continually try to improve and develop business performance, costs and services.
• Allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs
• Manage staff

• Strong resolution in target fulfillment

• Excellent verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills in persuasion, negotiation, conflict resolution and teamwork
• Knowledge of all rules and regulations governing import and export
• Capable of working independently in a management position across departmental lines of responsibility
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and capability to learn to effectively use our ERP system
• Good English language knowledge
