Job description, responsibilities and duties

The firm is looking for a General Manager that will report to Nils Eilersen (owner).
The successful candidate will be able to:
• Develop and ensure implementation of long term strategy
• Ensure the successful day-to-day management of the company
• Organize and lead the company; grow and develop the production
• Provide inspirational leadership and direction to all executives and ensure the continued development and management of the company
• Develop organizational and operational structure of the company
• Provide correct management of operational risks, ensure cooperation with high decision taking bodies
• Guarantee the sustainability of existing business and grow new business by supplying high quality service to acquired customers
• Enforce cost control and budget compliance, enhancing profitability
• Manage and motivate the development of leadership qualities within the organization
• Maintain relationships with various stakeholders
• Achieve yearly sales budget and profitability in line with the company objectives

In respect of the ideal candidate profile:
• Likely a Slovak, but we will also consider other nationalities
• Likely 40 - 50 years, but we will also consider candidate outside this range
• Fluent English
• University degree
• Relevant managerial years of experience
• Experience in building / developing teams and creating positive and productive work environments
• Excellent understanding of the business model and ability to contribute to formulating and implementing the strategy of the company
• Strong strategist with ability to implement the approved strategies
• Excellent customer focus with business development experience
• Winning spirit, strong ambition to succeed
• Track record of growth, improved business performance or managed changes in the organization
• The person should be well organized, result oriented, fair, honest and trustworthy
• The person has demonstrated the ability to lead, partner with, negotiate, influence and motivate senior staff as well as employees
• Have excellent communication and relationship building skills as well as the ability to network
• Demonstrated judgment and decision-making ability
