Due to the expansion of our office in Asturias, northern Spain, DXC Technology is seeking a Mainframe System Administrator/Engineer to join the team in charge of main clients in S&W Europe.

It is required:

• At least 2 years of work experience in a mainframe environment. More experienced professionals will be well considered.
• Able to communicate in English, as the work will be carried out in this language.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Deep knowledge in z/OS and z/OS command skills, SQL and JCL
• Interest in developing as a DBA

Desired skills:

• Experience in DB2 administration, datasharing, application recovery and performance.
• RACF/Security concept.
• Knowledge in the following software technologies: QMF, CA products, BMC DB2 products and BMC ARC.
• Development skills.
