Accountant for Asset management

• To process accounting postings.
• To perform reconciliations and review reconciliations performed by more junior positions.
• To execute and engage on all internal control activities defined within the function.
• To participate on internal & external financial audits depending on the complexity of the function.
• To drive and facilitate interactions with internal /external customers and third parties (legal entity controllers/ plant accountants/ Tax authorities/Financial institutions).
• To participate in system projects in functional area with limited guidance.
• To perform system set up and maintenance of specific systems (non SAP system).
• To prepare and deliver financial reports as required by internal or external requirements on time (accounting closing activities etc).
• To perform detailed review, analysis and interpretation of defined processes in the assigned area of work, ensuring accuracy of data and adequate processing and reporting.
• To perform closing activities of medium level accounting complexity.
• To validate overall closing within the area of responsibility.
• Consultancy for the SBU 's (cost vs. capital questions and in general any other asset management accounting query).
