Job description, responsibilities and duties

Overall purpose of role:
The role will require to support Tesco’s marketing/Clubcard team in their longer term strategic insight projects, designed to bring about a step change in Tesco’s understanding of their customer base. The ideal candidate will be inquisitive with a passion for analysis, be able to demonstrate good commercial awareness and have the ability to communicate complex ideas to a variety of audiences. The role is based in Bratislava.

Key responsibilities:
o To support the senior analyst and insight director as and when required
o Understand the client’s business objectives and overall strategy
o Execute and manage project delivery, with support from the senior insight analyst, by:
o Contributing towards project proposals
o Delivering insight on time, 100% accurate and meeting the project proposal
o Assisting in the development of final insight presentations
o Assisting in the final client delivery meeting
o Acting as a QA resource for other analysts in the team
o Follow and suggest improvements to the team’s ‘Ways of Working’
o Identification of efficiencies and creation of solutions to increase the effectiveness of the team
o Use and combine SQL and Excel efficiently create meaningful and actionable customer insight

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Intermediate (B1) and Slovak - Proficiency (C2)

Other knowledge

Microsoft Excel - Advanced
SQL - Basic

• Excellent English and Czech/Slovak language skills
