Job description, responsibilities and duties
Expressed in one sentence - this company searches for an Oracle DB Administrator with expert experience to complete and independent Oracle DB administration and ad-hoc problems solution.
JD in more details:
First 3 months (full time) – Oracle local support will be at disposal
- Installation of Oracle VM on 2x HP DL 580 G9
- Installation of Oracle Linux
- Installation of Oracle 12c EE, RAC, Partitioning, DP, TP
- Create of ASM instances, database + 2 instances, standby database (according to Oracle MAA)
- Configuration and testing of backup/restore database (netbackup/netvault)
- Testing of DR procedure
- Cooperation to integration with Zabbix centra monitoring
- Documentation of all above mentioned tasks
After 3 months (30% FTE)
Administration of Oracle 12c EE RAC database on Oracle Linux (first year 16x5 later 24x7) – 1 project, 4 environments (1 production database – 2 primary instances + 1 standby)
Administration of Oracle VM, ideally administration of Oracle Linux
