Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Place of work: Bratislava OR Praha

• Lead and develop the IT team in Czech Republic (3 IT specialist + Project manager) and Slovakia (3 IT specialists)
• IT Business Partner for all business divisions & CPL
• Maximize value contribution and strengthen the business focus of IT
• Provides strategic, tactical and operational trusted advice to the Divisions and value generating ideas that create competitive advantage
• Lead business process improvements by identifying opportunities and developing initiatives that enable business innovation (e.g. Digital)
• Manage local IT demand & supply management activities and align with CEE
• Manages IT investments and IT project portfolio with strategic business priorities in alignment with global business partners and divisional stakeholders with key stakeholders (costs/budget, scope and planning, etc.)
• Manage demand planning process
• Deliver demand driven services and products, ensure Service Level Agreement (SLA), CIO KPIs as well as internally defined efficiency measures fulfillment
• Manage external IT providers for local services and own related contracts (SLA’s)
• Ensure Customer Satisfaction on Meets Expectations level
• Ensure support/change management of end user in applying IT in daily business
• Ensure IT governance, operation. excellence on ITO&BA processes/areas
• Ensure Business Continuity on activities/processes based on ITO & BA landscape
• Manage IT talent pool (recruit, motivate, develop, identify talent), create and sustain spirit based on high performance team culture
• Manage specific IT-budget/cost/reporting adhering to global directives
• Implement global standards and structures, receiving strategic direction and providing country input ensuring global awareness of local needs. Enforce usage of global products and services for local demands. Reduce local supply and where possible integrate it into one of the global service centres. Search for win-win solutions
• Ensure compliance (quality and license management, IT Security, contracts, financials, ICS etc.) of all IT related processes
• Ensure appropriate information risk and security management

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

• High proficiency level in English and in CZ/SK language
• Master degree preferably in the area of Information Management or equivalent
• A minimum of 5 years of business/business process experience and minimum of 5 years of IT system design, development, implementation and support experience
• Strong management, leadership, organizational and communication skills to effectively interact and to balance different demands from local business, CPL, CEE IT, CIO Board/Office, BBS,...
• Knowledge of Information Technologies incl. Digitalization, project management, application lifecycle management, IT infrastructure, IT support
• Vendor management skills to manage internal and external service provider
• Strong level of "instills trust". Excellent ability to "drive results"
