Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for successful candidate, with strong background in sales in pharmaceutical industry and good knowledge of pharmaceutical production (preferably directly in contract manufacturing).
The position is without any subordinates.
Place of work:
Slovakia + travel accross Europe, or home-office+Travel (meetings with acquired customers, particularly across Europe); regular meetings in HQ in Slovakia.
Position purpose:
Responsible for development and control of the commercial and sales strategy of pharmaceutical products within the contract manufacturing for the given geographic area. Our client is pharmaceutical production company.
Position is without direct subordinates.
Main activities:
• to formulate and implement strategic sales plans in the area of contract manufacturing, mainly for penetrating into a new market or improving the position on the existing market;
• to specify the sales plan of the contract manufacturing, segments and opportunities in terms of volume, turnover and budget;
• to create and develop effective sales and marketing approach in sale contracts of contract manufacturing;
• to represent the company and to maintain regular contacts with key customers;
• to monitor potential customers of contract manufacturing, developmental trends and sales opportunities according to the regions, segments, etc.;
• to search for customers actively, to build and maintain business relationships;
• to implement surveys and review complaints or initiatives from customers;
• to create materials and proposals for pricing policy, hold negotiations on delivery, payment and other terms and conditions;
• to perform analyses, give regular reports on the course and results of fulfilment of sales goals and prepare recommendations;
• to manage and control effectiveness of economic activities of the assigned area of sales.
