Job description, responsibilities and duties

Your key accountabilities at this very important position will be:

* Manage accounting, budgeting, forecasting and reporting
* Provide financial analysis and controlling
* Create and manage operational best practices
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and relevant regulations
* Partner with the different business functions and provide financial leadership to optimize profitability and performance
* Provide accurate financial data covering month-end and management reporting to the business in a timely manner
* Perform data submission in global reporting system

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

Slovak - Upper intermediate (B2) and English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Driving licence

Personality requirements and skills

Successful candidate shall possess

* college / university degree in economy (accounting / finance or similar study is an advantage)
* working experience in similar position (finance, controlling etc.)
* ability to work in the fast paced, very dynamic, flexible and multitasking environment
* enthusiasm, initiative and willingness to establish / change processes
* natural leadership and entrepreneurial mindset
* excellent communication skills
* solid and effective thinking
* strong organizational, negotiating, problem solving skills
* ability to work independently as well as in a team
* confidentiality, integrity
* ability to work hard and under pressure
* ability to collaborate within a multinational environment
* advanced level of Slovak and English language (written and spoken)
* knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS
* advanced user of MS Office
* experience with Hyperion, SAP, Cognos or other relevant tool is an advantage
