Our client - UNILIN is best known to the general public because of its Quick-Step department. UNILIN employs 5400 people at 21 production sites worldwide; generates a turnover of 1,4 billion EUR and is part of the listed international Mohawk group.
In addition to laminate flooring, UNILIN also manufactures engineered parquet flooring, LIVYN, laminated board, MDF, HDF & chipboard, click furniture, roof systems and insulation board.
In 2014 UNILIN added to its flooring portfolio an important Czech manufacturer that holds a very good market position in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

MARKETING MANAGER EASTERN EUROPE


YOU, as an ideal candidate, work now on a position below Marketing Manager level like: Product Manager, Marketing Senior Coordinator, Marketing Trade Manager.
YOU have an experience from related business sector: building components/materials, which use similar marketing and sales channels
YOU have a hands-on experience to work closely with sales department in organizing trade marketing activities.


POSITION

As Marketing Manager Eastern Europe you are responsible for regionalizing the global company strategy and marketing plan for our flooring brands (Quick-Step, Pergo, Magnum) and implementing it in your region. You will work closely with sales to ensure maximum alignment of the distributor plans with the UNILIN country sales priorities. You will be based in Vyskov, reporting to the Marketing Manager Europe, based in Belgium.

• Contribute to your market's growth, through a clearly defined regional marketing plan.
• Regularly review and analyze all implemented marketing activities and share best practice across all parties involved.
• Define relevant KPIs and design dashboard accordingly.
• Tailor any marketing collateral to the region's needs.
• Press contact for your region, in close collaboration with the PR Manager.
• Actively participate in internal reviews of your markets.
• First contact person for (ad hoc) marketing related questions for your market and region.
• Maintain clear and frequent communication with all stakeholders including regional sales, marketing team headquarters and external marketing communication agencies to ensure a timely delivery of all identified deliverables.
• Manage regional marketing budget and complete administration tasks linked to the role.
• Manage allocated incentive programs for distributors.
• Further build and develop the flooring brands in Eastern Europe.

Personality requirements and skills

PROFILE

• 5-10 years related experience (preferably industry) in channel marketing, translating and implementing a global marketing strategy for the region.
• You have a ‘can-do' attitude and deliver against promise.
• You are a skilled project manager.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Czech and English. Other EE languages (especially Polish) are a nice to have.
• You understand cultural differences and thrive in an international environment.
• Advanced computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
