Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are now seeking an experienced leader and technical manager to join a successful, growing Ecommerce/webdesign company in Prague
Main Tasks
- The primary responsibility for this position is to ensure that all customer projects and managed effectively and delivered on time and in budget
- Manage and provide leadership and coaching to project managers
- Act as point of escalation for project managers for any critical issues
- Manage medium sized software development, QA and analysis team
- Ensure that technical resources are allocated effectively to each project
- Identify and manage technical resources through forward planning, identifying and dealing with potential future problems
- Drive project management 'best practices' throughout the team
- Evaluate and provide business cases for new technologies
- Create a good, cooperative working environment within your department

- Experience managing budgets and resource planning
- Able to be a strong negotiator and influencer both for external suppliers and providing support to sales
- Able to identify and implement opportunities to improve quality and efficiency
- Strong English language skills both written and spoken (other languages may be an advantage but are not a strong requirement)
