Senior Java Developer (f/m)

Your Duties and Responsibilities:

• Developing our JAVA-based applications in the area of SMS, mobile payment and mobile web and web applications
• Architecture and design in a comprehensive, SOA-based system landscape
• Proactive launch and implementation of new ideas for our product landscape
• Integrating applications into the DIMOCO cloud
• Cooperating to establish modern, agile software processes (Scrum, etc.)

What We Require:
• Completed education or training in IT (computer science, computer engineering or industrial engineering in polytechnic institute, technical university or university of applied sciences)
• Several years’ experience in JAVA/J2EE development, especially in common open source frameworks (Hibernate, Apache, JSF, etc.)
• Solid knowledge of database programming (ER modelling, SQL)
• Experience with Maven and SVN required, other build environments/tools (Hudson, Jenkins, TeamCity, Sonar, etc.) an advantage
• Experience with agile process models (Scrum, TDD, etc.) preferable
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong problem-solving and implementation skills
• Team player ready to cooperate and provide innovative solutions in a team environment
• Able to bring in convincing ideas
• Working knowledge of English (both spoken and written), German is a plus
