In the role of Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will be serving as a technical lead within QA area, overseeing software testing and product quality. You’ll develop test strategies, create test documents, identify faults, and review QA reports. You’ll evaluate test automation tools and lead the transition from manual to automated testing. You’ll build test automation frameworks, provide QA support, and define/update quality standards.
You’ll set up CI/CD pipelines and lead the entire QA process on multiple projects. You’ll ensure released products meet quality standards, stay updated on processes and technologies, and maintain a high degree of quality. You’ll possess knowledge of DevOps and agile frameworks.
What will you do?
You will be developing scripts for Front-End and Back-End Test Automation.
- Development, optimalisation and maintenance of Test Automation Framework.
Collaborate with developers to determine quality assurance parameters. - Set up test execution using a CI/CD pipeline.
- Oversee creation of testing documents and procedures.
- Implement testing procedures and address bottlenecks.
- Troubleshoot quality issues and refine test procedures.
- Perform analysis checks on product specifications.
- Mentor and support QA team and developers in test automation tasks and progress evaluation.
You will succeed if you:
Speak English at least at the B2 level. Speaking German is your advantage.
Your Core skills should be:
- Active knowledge of least one object-oriented programming language > JAVA
- Active work in agile development (SCRUM & SAFe).
- API Test automation solutions.
- Active work with Selenium, Selenide, TestNG, RestAssured, Hoppscotch.
- Experience with Allure, Xray.
- Experience in using Gradle, Git, JIRA.
- CI/CD - creation of Gitlab / Jenkins pipelines.
- Knowledge of principles of containerization (Docker, Docker Compose).
- Knowledge of BDD agile process and active work within any BDD framework.
- Previous role in / responsibility for creating modern test automation architecture / strategy and responsibility for delivery of test automation and its results to contribute to assurance of product quality (focus on back-end test automation).
- Hands-on experience of creating test solution from scratch.
It is nice to have:
- Knowledge of cloud services > preferable AWS, GCP, Azure.
- Experience with using AI in testing.
- Python, Saleforce
