We make promises to our customers, and we’ll make promises to you too. In this Plant Liaison role in Graz Austria:

• You’ll build a strong relationship with the vehicle production plant and the Compound managing agent (Releasing agent) and associated staff of the customer
• You‘ll review daily the flow of vehicles out of the plant into the compound and onto the transporters or rail to ensure delivery commitments are met,
• You’ll create and populate the KPI reporting suite relevant to this site,
• You ‘ll produce advanced forecasts for the customer and the carriers to plan capacity from compound to final delivery point,
• You’ll support the delivery of EAC and EBIT growth for a new account, as well as the achievement of contractual cost down targets,
• You’ll build and foster cross divisional relationships to maximize freight procurement opportunities for the European LLP and wider DHL business,
• You’ll ensure constructive relationships with customer at all levels, lead planning and forecasting meetings with customer and agencies, and run monthly reviews,
• You’ll actively manage and provide the latest innovation design to drive business optimization,
• You’ll build trusted relationships with other DHL businesses to drive integration and procurement collaboration,
• You’ll build trusted relationships with service providers to drive supply chain success,
• You’ll develop transport provider base broadening LLP Europe suppliers options,
• You’ll ensure through the team that all aspects of the business operate within defined corporate and legislative requirements,
• You’ll ensure to comply with best practice and highest standards and ensure these standards are consistently achieved, reviewed and improved,
• You’ll build strong relationship with the LLP contract operational and management team.

Educational Specialization

Planning and forecasting, Transport, Procurement, Supplier management

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1) and German - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

• Planning and forecasting experience
• Experience in LLP operations in Supply Chain division
• Transport / Procurement / Supplier Management
• At least 3 years Supervisory or Management experience in Freight Forwarding and or a logistics environment experience
• Customer relationship management skills
• Demonstrable record of service improvement through innovation
• Cultural awareness - will be dealing with providers from / in all over the world
