Job description, responsibilities and duties

As a SW Testing Specialist of Software Applications you will:
  • design test plans, define test cases, prepare test data
  • prepare data entry for automated tests
  • performance and regression testing – detecting, recording, reporting and retesting found errors
  • cooperate with the developers and other team members
  • facilitate communication between all technical and business areas impacted by the testing effort
  • cooperate on maintenance, development and optimization of testing environment
  • report incident status, overall testing status and release recommendations to Project Management and Test Lead
  • verify that all testing documentation is complete and (plans, scripts/cases, pass/fail results) has been stored in the designated location

As a member of the development team, you will participate to the continuous improvement of our development life cycle, methodology and tools. You will exchange knowledge and work efficient in order to achieve targets timely.

Personality requirements and skills

English – writen and spoken is a must,
experience with test case management/execution toolsability to quickly gain an understanding of complex applications and to transfer and abstract knowledge,
experience with bug tracking software and testing tools,
flexibilty, analytical mind and accuracy with attention to goals and detail,
ability to work independently and proactively as well as a team player,
ability to dive deep on technical issues with developers.


Nice to have:
ISTQB Certification
Knowledge of relational databases and experience with SQL
Experience with performance tests
Experience of agile software processes and technologies (Scrum)
Experience with MS Team Foundation Server
