Indirect Sales and Used Tax Accountant - Bratislava, Slovakia

Key responsibilities:

•Prepare, review and file accurate tax reporting per state and federal reporting requirements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
•Account Reconciliations using Blackline
•Support the Business Licenses for all divisions
•Maintain the sales tax exemption certificates for all divisions. This includes maintaining exemptions for tax exempt Dentsply Sirona Inc customers and providing sales tax exemption forms to 3rd party vendors for certain purchases made by Dentsply Sirona Inc divisions. 
•Lead compliance with unclaimed property laws in all US states, which include the timely filings of unclaimed property remittances by state.
•Ensure proper system set up (implementation of the US tax engine selected by the affiliate) and master data related set up for related Product Taxability.
•Continuous streamlining of the US indirect tax processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
•Respond to and accommodate periodic indirect tax audits and information requests.
•Ensure issues from customers and taxing authorities are being resolved in a timely manner.
•Other duties as required.
•Communicate changes and/or enhancements to Indirect Tax practices and procedures that may have a business impact to North America location personnel, as appropriate.
•Communicate Indirect Tax accrual amounts, adjustments, and non-routine general accounting-related matters to location personnel, as appropriate.
•Resolve non-routine location, GBS, and/or company inquiries and disputes, as needed
