Corporate Finance Associate

Deloitte's Financial Advisory practice provides strategic and financial advisory services to clients throughout every phase of the economic cycle. If you join our financial advisory team, you will develop expertise to advise clients in the following areas - Corporate Finance; Valuation & Business Modeling; Reorganization; Transaction Support & Debt Advisory.


Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting senior members in Buy & Sell Advisory side projects;
• Performing financial analyses of companies/markets, identifying potential targets;
• Drafting presentations, information memoranda and feasibility studies, reviewing business plans etc;
• Supporting valuation and business modelling team, including preparation of pro-forma financial statements, cash-flow predictions, development of investment profitability models etc;
• Interacting with clients/experts in various industries (Energy, Manufacturing, FSI etc);
• Occasionally supporting the financial due-diligences team; and
• Travelling (mainly in Slovakia and across Central Europe).

Requirements:
• A university degree;
• Interest in obtaining recognised professional accounting or financial qualification (ACCA, ACA, CFA, MBA);
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, including corporate finance or audit or transaction support (due diligence) experience, with an international professional services firm;
• Very good command of English (spoken and written);
• Very good PC skills and ideally experience with financial modelling; and
• Strong team orientation and high energy level.
