In-house Lawyer - senior

We are looking for a new member in our internal legal team. A suitable candidate for this position should have an appropriate level of legal knowledge in commercial, civil and labor law, be motivated by new challenges, and be a good team player capable of working in a dynamic and international environment. Key Responsibilities:
• Maintaining the company’s legal agenda – mainly in the area of corporate, commercial (contractual), labor and civil law & regulatory matters
• Resolution of the company’s legal issues and their management - legal assistance and support to other in-house departments: office manager, marketing, human resources, financial department, etc.
• Preparation of internal corporate documentation, organization of general meetings, execution of corporate changes, etc.
• Representing the company before official authorities (trade office, commercial court, etc)
• Drafting and reviewing standard company documents, including contract templates and internal policies
• Continuous monitoring and advising on company compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements, advice to the local management on legal implications of new legislation and internal policies
• Local implementation of global policies and their adjustment to the domestic environment
• Legal research and preparation of legal advice
• Co-operation with external legal advisors as well as the regional internal legal team
• Contract revision and negotiation
• Maintain and develop professional relationships with and provide support to professionals from client facing business departments

Requirements:
• University master’s degree (Slovak law)
• Min 5 year of relevant experience from an internal legal department
• Previous experience from executing/managing legal projects or participating in projects with responsibilities for legal matters
• Previous experience in the area of labor law, public procurement and data privacy is an asset / is desirable
• Working professional use of English, both in writing and verbally
