Consultant/Senior Consultant focused on Finance Processes

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implementation, and optimisation of finance processes, organisations and systems
• The department includes the following functions: Financial Reporting, Consolidation, Management/Cost Accounting, Management Reporting, Planning & Budgeting, Controlling, Treasury
• Work in teams on local and international engagements
• Assume responsibilities on project engagements such as:
o ensuring adequate information flow between client and the Deloitte team
o provide management and client services
o ensure that deliverables are prepared in a timely, profitable and high-quality manner
o perform daily project task management and delegation based on the instructions of the project manager
• Identifying and addressing new business opportunities

Requirements:

Extensive skills / Experience:
• University master’s degree (preferably in economics or finance)
• 3+ years of relevant experience in finance (financial accounting & reporting, consolidation, management/cost accounting, management reporting, planning & budgeting, controlling, treasury)
• Expertise in design, implementation and optimisation of finance processes, organisations and systems
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Project management
• Native Slovak/Czech
• Fluent English
• Professional use of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Moderate skills / Experience:
• CFO / Finance Manager experience an advantage
• Consulting experience an advantage
• Financial industry experience (banking and/or insurance) an advantage
• Reporting tools / applications (eg Cognos, Hyperion) an advantage
• Planning and budgeting tools / applications an advantage
• Cost allocation or calculation tools / applications an advantage
• Project Management certificate (eg PRINCE 2, PMI, or equivalent) an advantage
• Innovative thinker with leadership abilities
• MS Access an advantage
