Tax Consultant - Personal Income Tax and International Expat Taxation Team

Our Global Employer Services (GES) team provides personal income tax and social security consulting and compliance services both from the Slovak and international perspective. Our clients are global companies employing individuals who work in various countries world-wide. We help them to find the way how to assign their employees abroad and provide them with the advisory services with respect to tax, social security and other consequences connected with their activities abroad applying domestic and international tax and social security rules. We also assist them with their compliance obligations towards the tax and social security authorities. We serve to a number of high-net-worth individuals and also many local companies and individuals to whom we provide various personal income tax and social security advisory and compliance services. Our team uses top technologies for the day-to-day tasks and our work and communication with clients is paperless with use of online tools and communication channels.

Your job will be:
• Taking charge and bearing responsibility for assigned tasks;
• Performing tasks under the guidance of more experienced colleagues (managers, senior consultants) as well as providing support to more junior colleagues;
• Researching and studying the underlying documentation to relevant questions; utilising Deloitte’s standard methodologies and knowledge management resources;
• Preparing draft letters for clients, summarizing facts, analyses, and specified solutions and recommendations;
• Preparation and review of the personal income tax returns;
• Being point of contact for clients (global companies) and individuals;
• Working within various teams including other service lines (VAT, Corporate tax, Transfer pricing) on complex international projects;
• Developing and maintaining relationships with peers and domestic/international clients.

Requirements:
• University degree;
• Fresh graduate or 1-2 years working experience;
• Demonstrated problem solving skills, analytical thinking, initiative, and business awareness;
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments;
• Ability to develop relationships with colleagues and clients;
• Well-developed communication skills and fluent Slovak and good level of English;
• Willingness to learn and develop a career.
