Contracts Advisor (Temporary backfill)

Dell’s Worldwide Procurement team is seeking a Contracts Advisor to support our Software Procurement contracts function in accordance with our defined vision, mission and operating principles. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex contract negotiations, processes and deadlines, working with cross functional teams effectively to deliver value for stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
Coordinate contractual process, addresses issues, collects approvals and drives entire process to conclusion with Software Procurement Team to assure best quality at best value for Dell
Analyze, develops, and administers contractual documents to ensure compliance to company policy, legal and regulatory requirements and business specification
Coordinate with legal, risk & other related in Dell to standardize contract templates across regions to ensure appropriate local legal requirements
Advise the organization of contractual rights and obligations and provide interpretation of terms and conditions
Provide contractual and commercial expertise, support and guidance in the development and negotiation of contracts, including risk assessment and alternate positions and consult with respective functions on behalf of business and Procurement to achieve consensus and agreement
Ensure response times and other SLAs are met as defined for the role
Manage project and initiative tasks, stakeholders and drive the completion of project milestones and deliverables

Osobnostné predpoklady a zručnosti

Essential requirements:
Undergraduate degree in Law and 6-8 years relevant experience or Graduate degree in Law and 4-6 years relevant experience
Experience and competencies in with Complex supply contracts
Contracts drafting
Presentation and Communication skills
Contract workflow processes
Excellent Time management

Desirable requirements:
Master's degree and/or relevant professional certification (IACCM, PMP, CPSM)
Experience with procurement category management and project management
Data analysis/Benchmarking
