Key Responsibilities:
In this role as Network Capacity Engineer you will monitor, evaluate and recommend actions to optimize voice and data transactions over Dells network infrastructure.
Provide analysis and forecasting for data networking capacity over LAN and WAN infrastructures
Help Drive Network Global Strategy and train Team Members
Help Develop and Maintain Global Centralized Capacity Database and dashboards
Leverage Existing Monitoring Tools, Perform Real Time Monitoring and Root Cause Analysis for High Utilization
Document anomalies and provide Feedback to Network Engineering Teams
Perform Capacity and Trending Analysis and status of Capacity Resolutions (Capacity Analysis is performed for Business and Engineering Initiatives)
Provide Recommendations for capacity optimization
Essential Requirements:
Active English language required
Solid experience in working with capacity analysis on networking systems
Excellent knowledge of network technologies (IP routing, QOS) based largely on Cisco platforms
2+ years of experience in a similar position
Cisco Certificate
Desirable Requirements:
International Exposure
Masters or Degree in IT or in a related business or suitable relevant experience
