Big Data Business Analytics Lead

The One Dell IT organization is hiring a Big Data Business Analytics Lead to be part of the global analytics team focused on the development and optimization of Dell’s Commercial Online Experience applications. The One Dell IT organization is responsible for insights and recommendations to optimize usable interface designs across applications by applying a user-centered, iterative design process. Collects behavioral data from end users and customers to identify problems, and/or insights that impact product design and development..

Key Responsibilities:
As a Big Data Business Analytics Lead you will be responsible for operating within a dynamic, fast-paced, scalable & agile IT development environment, which faces both internal and external customers. You will undertake analysis, reporting metrics and pull data to understand and help improve the performance of various on-going engineering development initiatives. Your main responsibilities should include:
• Analyzing online customer behavior and online business performance, designing and developing new and innovative analytics methods, while using analytics tools such as Clickstream Analysis, SiteCatalyst, Discover, and Insights to conduct analysis
• Providing actionable recommendations on how to optimize the online business
Defining and manages an analytics roadmap and helping present findings to key stakeholders
• Executing online analytics and provides bi-weekly progress updates
• Proactively introducing new ideas for client initiatives and establishing relationship with key business partners or Point of Contacts to accelerate issues fix
• Leveraging team works or cross functional collaboration to improve customer experience;
• Contributing to improve Process and reduce overall issues and conducting research to identify Web sites and online influencers for improvement.

Osobnostné predpoklady a zručnosti

Essential Requirements:
•A diploma or bachelor degree in Computer/IT, Marketing, Statistics or Business Degree, or equivalent professional experience
6-8 years of relevant experience in e-Commerce and Online Analytics
•Experience with statistical tools like SAS, Statistica, and/or JMP
•Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey analytic insights effectively to both IT and business audiences
•Strong presentation, leadership, business influence, and project management skills
•Capability to identify and troubleshoot potential Business issues

Desirable Requirements:
•Experience with large, high-volume web sites
•Expertise in most of the following e-commerce analytics tools: SiteCatalyst, Discover, Insights
•Understanding of Online e-Commerce experience (pre-purchase, purchase path, post purchase) is a plus
•Strong teamwork, business acumen, and customer advocacy skills
•Team work spirit and enable to be part of a global team, with remote leaders and peers;
