Merchandising manager for storage products

Key responsibilities:
Dell is recruiting for the permanent position of EMEA Enterprise Merchandising Senior Advisor. Based in Bratislava (SR), the candidate will manage Storage merchandising for the EMEA market through creating the right offers and promotions for all routes to market.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (LOB CoC teams, regional Marketing, Finance, ES,Emea Pricing and Distribution / Channel sales teams) to develop, plan and implement storage merchandising strategy
· Analyze the market based on IDC, Context, Business Intelligence and define market opportunities in EMEA regions and prepare portfolio strategy (per country) for every route to market (distribution/channel/direct)
· Define specific Smart value configurations based on external data and internal insights and create central country specific pricing based on competitive info
· Provide executional briefings to launch the offers and work with marketing team and develop the right message to focus on the correct customer segmentation and design concept of storage promotions, work closely with LOB CoC and local sales & marketing and prepare Quarterly promo plan, calculate the business case and financial impact.
· Monitor slow sellers, and takes action to impact run rates via price reductions and/or
other demand-driving activities as necessary.

Osobnostné predpoklady a zručnosti

Essential Requirements:
· Strong analytical ability and presentation skills
· Advanced excel and at least basic SQL/VBA skills
· Bachelor or Master degree
· Autonomous / proactive professional
· +5 year marketing, sales or category management, preferably from within the IT industry

Desirable Requirements:
· Ability to manage time and prioritize effectively.
· Good verbal and written communication skills.
