Key responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for managing global new product/project/tool implementation as well as managing multiple small projects related to procurement process improvement. He/she must have excellent understanding of Procurement processes and tools.
This person will regularly interact with different levels of internal users (including senior management or executive levels) and external vendors on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.
Main responsibilities:
  • Lead global projects to streamline, align, standardize and simplify current Procurement processes, systems and tools as part of P2P Transformation Multi-Year Plan
  • Collaborate with IT and business through the development and implementation process, work with IT Project team on open issues and resolutions using Agile methodology
  • Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities through test script creation, UAT metrics development, UAT progress monitoring and secure and coordinate UAT testers
  • Support & Development of sustaining team, work closely with business users and sustaining team on system testing in production environment, participate on root cause analysis for feedback to users and future action plan development
  • Develop Requirements Documentation for Procurement systems and review Specifications for Procurement dependent systems
  • Coordinate business needs with resource availability, manage change request process and determine change requests prioritization
  • Establish and execute communication and training plan for users (internal and external)

Osobnostné predpoklady a zručnosti

Essential requirements
  • 6-8 years of work experience in project management, procurement or consulting + University degree in Economy or IT
  • Knowledge of Procurement and Finance processes and tools is a must
  • Excellent knowledge of PC software applications - MS Office (including MS Word, Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, InfoPath), MS SharePoint
  • Strong project management skills to develop, track, and run multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Experience with deployment of Ariba OnDemand/SaaS solution
  • Spend management experience/business process improvement experience

Desired requirements
  • Knowledge of other Procure2Pay/Source2Pay systems such as Oracle, SAP, Coupa will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of other foreign languages is an advantage
