Key Responsibilities
The Dell accounting department of over 100 people in Bratislava is covering responsibilities for US GAAP accounting across EMEA region as well as country specific Statutory accounting and financial reporting responsibilities. The accounting organization is structured either according to specific legal entities or specific centralized processes.
Centralized teams are responsible for end-to-end ownership of assigned processes and cover areas such as Consolidations, Revenue Recognition, Fixed Assets and Intercompany Accounting.
Monthly closing and analysis of books and ensuring the financial statements are accurate each month.
Support of audits and statutory filings each year, working closely with external auditors, internal compliance and internal audit teams.
Close cooperation with financial planning and analysis, global financial services and tax teams on a regular basis in order to ensure clear concise analysis and to allow precise management decision making.

Essential Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of previous accounting or audit experience
Advanced command of English language (fluent both in business and casual communication),
ACCA / CIMA certification completed or in progress
Are self-motivated, enthusiastic and work independently or under general supervision
Display critical thinking and challenge established processes
Demonstrate strong analytical skills and structured approach to process elements of the role
Desirable Requirements
Are flexible team players, able to learn quickly and adapt to a frequently changing environment
