Business Analysis Specialist - Systems Controls
This role within the Systems Control Group (SCG) in Dell’s Corporate Finance Systems organization involves leveraging both finance and systems process skills to govern Dell’s global financial hierarchies that exist in the DRM (Data Relationship Management) Hyperion application.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
This individual will be acting as an subject matter expert of DRM (Data Relationship Management) system and the associated global Financial hierarchies in the downstream systems that DRM impacts Finance Datamart (FDM), Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Hyperion Planning (HPT), Oracle 11i, DDW, and applying that SME knowledge in conversations with the business regarding Dell’s global financial hierarchies.
The applicant will be responsible for the following items:
• Communication with business, corporate and project teams related to global hierarchy maintenance processes and schedules.
• Understanding of the DRM (Data Relationship Management) Hyperion system design and business rules
• Work with project teams where appropriate to support application improvements/efficiencies
• Work closely with the Global Data Governance team to ensure that system solutions are implemented properly
• Understand activities within Dell as they relate to Dell’s global hierarchies and maintenance requests
• Provide timely feedback and support to the business regarding system solutions

Osobnostné predpoklady a zručnosti
Bachelor’s degree required with 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
The ideal candidate for this position will understand moderately complex financial software applications, experience with multi-dimensional hierarchical metadata management systems and processes, accounting knowledge basics and understanding of reporting concepts.
Candidates must possess strong drive for results and ability to deal effectively with ambiguity.
Role involves significant interaction with multiple groups thus good communication skills are required.
Experience with SQL, Access, SharePoint, Hyperion applications either as a user or an administrator are plus.
Most work is performed in situations requiring both strong individual contribution and effective teamwork.
