This position is for a Level 2 Application Support Team. The purpose of the Support Analyst is to primarily manage and resolve application issues and also handle release management activities, continuous improvement process (CIP) and provide technical support solutions to the project. It is crucial that the candidate has expertise in understanding of the application support production environment where the applications run, the technologies used and also be able to understand the application workflows. The candidate must be flexible in terms of working practices as the role requires evening, weekend and bank holiday work. This position will report into Software Development Manager.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide Level 2 application support to customer issues.
• Investigate and fix root cause of issues
• Report to Client Production Service Managers on Services issues
• Plan and manage all types of Releases
• Achieve Production Readiness for Change Implementation
• Manage application Commission/ Decommission & End-of-Life Activities
• Undertake BCP Test planning and co-ordination
• Communicate Weekly change calendar and status to stakeholders

Osobnostné predpoklady a zručnosti

Essential Requirements
• Significant experience in Level 2 Application/production support
• Mastery of technical skills in UNIX/Shell Scripting, Oracle/PL-SQL
• Familiarity with Investment banking domain terminologies and process flows
• ServiceNow ticketing tool experience
• Ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders
• Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
• Must be organized, have an eye for detail, and be able to put ideas into a tangible form

Desirable Requirements
• ITIL Certification
