EMEA Senior Tax Analyst

Role Overview
The EMEA Tax team currently comprises of approx 50 people and covers a wide range of taxes (direct, indirect, VAT, transfer pricing teams) and is currently seeking professionals to take on new challenges for a variety of tax roles.


Responsibilities may include covering direct tax advice to over 130 Business Units across EMEA including legal entity set up, ongoing operational aspects in line with tax structure and deal support with additional responsibilities for direct tax compliance in UK & Ireland, transfer pricing and EMEA tax reporting for consolidation at a global, managing VAT returns and related compliance in the EMEA region, reviewing all transactions going through the VAT return in line with relevant legislation and legislative changes and analysing outputs and inputs in detail, working alongside other Dell functions and our cosourced service providers.


Role Responsibilities
• Review and Support ASC740 tax calculations for Corporate Income Tax Provisioning for US Reporting which includes preparing and reviewing reporting templates & assisting in the calculation of quarterly tax accrual for EMEA legal entities
• Prepare tax computations and returns and support compliance for a number of Dell group companies in Ireland and UK. This includes corporate income tax returns, prepayments calculations, correspondence with Tax authorities
• Provide advice on EMEA intercompany recharge queries and partner with the business to find tax compliant solutions to cross region recharges.
• Review outsourced tax computations prepared by external vendors, support direct tax compliance matters across EMEA region
• Review financial statements for various companies across EMEA jurisdictions to ensure tax compliant.
• Preparation and review of VAT returns and statistical reporting, working with our partner external service provider to produce high-quality, accurate submissions;
• Review changes and new opportunities in European VAT law and implement them into reporting, advising other functions of relevant changes;
• Support the business in identifying the correct VAT treatment of transactions e.g. purchases and sales requirements;
• Assistance in internal and external audits and liaising with relevant tax authorities on ad hoc queries;
• Preparation of financial statements and supporting documentation relating to the VAT accounts

• The ability and willingness to pick up and develop technical knowledge on the job, through formal training sessions and through self-education;
• Prior knowledge of working in a multinational environment and experience of working with business partners in different regions
• Team player with excellent communication skills;
